about Suzy
After spending many years in both the real estate and banking industries, Suzy was ready for a change of pace.
She fell into the non-profit world quite by accident and quickly realized it was a great fit for her.

Having been very active in a local garden club for over 20 years and having been educated by some of the best gardening folks in town,
she began gardening her own property in 1984.

Next, she decided to take the Dallas County Master Gardener course in 2002. Little did Suzy know at the time how it would change her life! She attacked gardening from a whole new perspective.

She now loves taking old worn out landscapes and giving them new life or creating a new landscape from bare dirt and concrete, as she did when she remodeled her current home in 2009.
